Ever since Richard told me on Sunday what God had said to him about God blessing me in ways greater than Richard could even imagine, I have been curious about these blessings. What are they? When do I start looking for them? I realized the other night, though, that God doesn't want me to just wait around for Him to start pouring blessings onto my life. Rather, I am to walk in His will and glorify Him. And, through committing my life to Him and submitting to His will, then I will be blessed simply through those actions.
Maybe God will bless me in the way that I hope He will, but He might not. However, if I am in His will and submitting to Him, then I think that I will accept His blessings no matter what form they take and be thankful for them. I have to choose to view things as blessings, no matter how small they end up being. And then those "small" blessings will become huge because they are from God and the fact that He wants to bless me in the first place is amazing, awe-inspiring, and HUGE!
